BADMINTON LEAGUES & MIXERS 2025-2026

Competitive Doubles League (Sept 2, 2025 - May 26, 2026)

A ladder based league where players are placed into groups of 4 or 5 based on skill level. Partners are determined by your placement on the ladder. Players cannot pick and choose who they play with. New players start at the bottom of the ladder and work their way up. Players who are absent for more than one week will move down the ladder. Signup is required. Players are encouraged to show up every week. Please sign-up every week by either calling the club or showing up by 7:30pm.

When: Tuesday

Sign-Up Deadline: Every Tuesday at 7:30pm

Time: 7:45-10:00pm

Drop-in Fee: $20 for non-members

Shuttlecock/Birdie Type: Feather (players supply their own to share)

First Day: September 2, 2025

Last Day: May 26, 2026

*Non members MUST be over the age of 18 to compete.*

COED Matinee Morning Mixer

Monday, wednesday AND thursday

When: 11:30am-1:30pm

Drop In Fee: $ 15 for non-members

Sign-Up: Show up at the club for 11:15 am and check in at the front desk.

This will be a great opportunity for non-members to try out our badminton courts and participate in some of our programs,

King’s Court (Oct 1, 2025 - june 24, 2026)

A competitive mixer group where players will rotate courts throughout the evening. A mix of singles and doubles will be played on the two courts allotted.

When: Wednesday

Sign-Up Deadline: Every Wednesday by 12:00pm via StrawPoll

Time: 8:00-10:00pm

Drop-in Fee: $20 for non-members

Competetive JUNIOR BADMINTON ladder

This league will cultivate sportsmanship in young players, improve their resilience, and build character through competition as well as improve the player's badminton skills and techniques learned in day-to-day training. The Riverside Junior Badminton Ladder is intended for junior players who are competitive at the provincial/national level.

When: Saturday

Sign-Up Deadline: Every Thursday by 10:00pm

Time: 6:00-10:00pm

Shuttlecock/Birdie Type: Feather (players supply their own to share)
